Meet Philip A. Matorin, MD
Dr. Matorin is a highly trained otolaryngology and ENT specialist providing the latest medical and surgical treatment options for disorders of the ears, nose, and throat in both adults and children. He has special interest in allergy, sinus, snoring, and sleep disorders.
Dr. Matorin is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He trained as an electrical engineer at Rice University before attending medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He spent two years training at Baylor College of Medicine in general surgery where he operated with Dr. Debakey and four years of specialty training in ear, nose and throat surgery at Baylor.
Dr. Matorin’s research has been published in several medical journals. He has also been recognized by his peers by serving as the Chairman of Surgery at West Houston Medical Center and has served in several elected positions at the Harris County Medical Society including the Executive Board, the Board on Socioeconomics, and the Board of Ethics.
